A primary target group is trainers and advisors in high-performance sport. Within the scope of the initiative, training concepts and modules are initially adapted to football (in the further course also in other types of sports) and possibilities for the integration of the topic “Mental Health and Mental Illnesses in High-Performance Sport” are examined in these trainings. In the steering group, the development of recommendations for the training of trainers and advisors is carried out and approved. These references are intended to assist training institutions in the planning or revision of their conceptions.

An initial training concept, which is to be optimized with regard to the topic “Mental Health in High-Performance Sport”, is the education to the soccer coach of the German Football Association (DFB).
